I was saving up for a beams until this caught my eye.
is this any good, it seems cheap and since theres more parts available for this engine than a beams. This post has been edited by LewFX: Mar 12, 2007 - 8:14 PM -------------------- ![]() |

FYI there's no real 4th gen 3sgte. It's just a 3rd gen with a few exterior mods. If it were a true 4th gen it would have vvt-i

I mean, the ST165 has the 1st gen, the ST185 has the 2nd gen, the ST205 has the 3rd gen, and the ST215 has the 4th gen. Each engine is by and large the same, but there are differences between each of them. The 4th gen has a LARGE air/air intercooler, coil on plug ignition, it's OBD2, side-feed intake manifold, one piece exhaust manifold/turbine housing, makes a different hp rating, etc. There are enough differences to classify it as a new generation, I don't see why it shouldn't be known as the 4th Gen. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
