I have a polished intake for a 7a but it is 94-95. Everything appears to
be the same as far as bolt pattern and hose connections go. The basic shape is different. I was just wondering if they will interchange. This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Mar 19, 2007 - 6:23 PM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

It looks good but don't work. Everything lines up all hoses connect.
The underside is different the pcv inlet is in a different spot, and the housing itself is quite a bit different. Upon startup it revs to, I assume the limiter I shut it off before it hit 5000 but it was rapidly increasing, not quite WOT but close. I had my son check the throttle body and it never opened he said. so its pulling air from somewhere. I never threw a code at all. I tried it about 6 times removing the cover 3 times to check stuff with no luck. I put the 97 back on and it ran perfect no problems at all. The 94 manifold chamber is evidently quite a bit different than a 97. Anyone have any Ideas? ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
