Asking girl out Options

Whats the best way to ask a stranger out. Theres this girl at this store that i want to ask out, but i'm not sure the best way to go about it.

I think asking her out to dinner is too much, too soon. What should i do???

Its real simple... first get yourself some rope, chloroform and a motel where they dont ask questions.... oh wait.. nevermind..... forget that...

If you want to get to know this girl, but are affraid of making her uncomfortable, dont ask her out on a date. Invite her to a party, or some other social gathering... just pop in and say.. " hey... remember me.. :-), some frineds are having a party this friday and I'd like to invite you. Give her the time and address, and your cell number ( in case she gets lost)

(She may have a boyfriend, and will want to bring him along, dont be a dick, and let her bring him)

If she shows, theres 1 point for you.... the only risk you run, is her hookin up with someone else.... but hey, if that happens, then she wasnt into you anyway.
At least there will be other girls at the party for you to talk to as well.

Hopefully, by the end of the night, everyone had a good time, and no one feels awkward.
