So I just bought some new 6.5" speakers to go into my doors and replace the stocko ones. I undid all the screws and popped the little clips and ripped the door panel off, only to find that I need to make some adapters to fit the new speakers into the 8" hole kindasad.gif

Unfortunately I had to leave it all as is and put the panel back on cause I'll have to wait to the weekend to go to my parent's and make up some adaptors.

But I'm not really annoyed. Because I get a real kick out of pulling my car to bits. I don't know why. Especially seeing as half the time something gets broken or damaged!

When I installed my sub and amp a month or so ago I had an absolute ball - I had most of thepanels on the passenger side off and even had the pasenger seat removed (I mounted the amp under the seat). It was a stinking hot day but I was having a great time puttling my car to bits and then putting it back together again!

So does anyone else get like that when they are pulling their car to bits or am I just a freak?

Zac

dont worry....there will come a time when you will begin to hate it....especially if it becomes too repetitive. especially if its like working on the engine. or putting on a turbo..........(that became a pain in the ass for me)

also try working on lambo doors. to get to the hinges you have to take the fenders off. but before you do that you need the sideskirts off. and the front bumper too. which means you need to loosen the turnsignals.

its fun if you have the time though, ill admit that.
