Out of all the new GT coupes that we have seen lately, this one gets my heart beating
![]() Audi A5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Audi S5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Expected U.S. models include a new 3.1 FSI V6 with 260 HP as the sole A5 offering, and a 4.2 FSI V8 with 354 HP found in current A8's for the S5, with 6 speed manual tranny :-) Rumor has sequential manuals in the works and an RS5 varaiant with the RS4's 4.2 420 HP FSI V8, along with stablemate cabriolets and a "spaceback" 5 door on the way. if it weren't for the 3-series, audi would be under no pressure to make this car, presumably to avoid stepping on the entry-level porsches (mostly the cayman).
i'd venture a guess that the a5 is going to be 35-40k and the s5 45-50k. beautiful car, though. i didn't care for the latest audi design language, but it's grown on me so much that i actually prefer them to the newer bmw cars. if this thing performs half as well as it looks, bmw will certainly feel the heat. -------------------- ![]() do you know who i am, mr. worley? |
