I have a 1994 Celica GT, automatic transmission, 2.2L
I'm having a problem where my car will start and run for a little while, then the engine will die. When I try to restart the car, it will not start for a few minutes, then start again and die again. I checked for spark when the car won't start and there is NO SPARK. I had the distributor cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, and ignitor replaced with new parts. I still have the same problem. Should I try having the distributor coil changed next? or are there other suggestions? Someone had told me that the distributor coil on my car is internal. Thanks in advance. Could be the fuel pump, sometimes they will die like that when they after they get warmed up. Try to get someone to put a fuel pressure gauge on there and that will tell you.
