Hi
I had my Celica GT for around 2 months now, one of the forst things i wanted to do with it is get the cam belt changed as it was last done at 40000, its now on 89000. also got a few oil leaks repaired, the bill ended up being rather large! I was wondering if you need to wear in new cam belts a bit as my car seems to be making a whining noise since i got it back, the car feels fine its just the noise is a little disconcerting. so now im getting a bit paranoid that the garage didnt do it properly! is there much chance that a mechanic could mess a job like this up? ritch |

I guess i need to take it back and make sure, very annoying though as they had it for over a week waiting for parts, now i got to leave it with them again.
Problem is I'm starting to get used to it now and am wondering if its my over reaction! over around 30 to 35mph i cant really hear it unless i change down gears, would you still suggest its a bad sign? |
