notice how when the fight starts, all the refs just kinda kick back n watch. now im not a hockey fan nor do i play hockey, but i am big on baseball and basketball. n as soon as a fight breaks out in those sports, there is always someone (usually an official) quick to try n stop the fight..so im just curious, how come in hockey they just let it happen until someone gets knocked out?? --------------------  |

oh, they draw the line. there have been a few "unnecessary roughness" calls before the helmets even come off. the nhl came down on a guy who ended another players career with a nasty check. forgot his name, but i'm sure someone will know who i'm talking about.
it's one of the cool things about hockey, imo. i think hockey players are typically among the very few athletes who actually work really hard for the money they make. --------------------  do you know who i am, mr. worley? |
