I have a 1994 Celica GT, automatic transmission, 2.2L
I'm having a problem where my car will start and run for a little while, then the engine will die. When I try to restart the car, it will not start for a few minutes, then start again and die again. I checked for spark when the car won't start and there is NO SPARK. I had the distributor cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, and ignitor replaced with new parts. I still have the same problem. Should I try having the distributor coil changed next? or are there other suggestions? Someone had told me that the distributor coil on my car is internal. Thanks in advance. Yes, your coil is in your dist.
Unless you have a CA spec car? I believe they are on the firewall. Regardless, check the coil. -------------------- ![]() |
