whats up all. thought i would tell you guys whats been going on with me lately. ive been hearing a strange clunking noise when i accelerate and let off the gas.

to make a long story short i found out that not only are the bearings bad, but the spindle is what caused it. but that wasnt the clunking noise. they kindly pointed out to me that my lower control arm bushing was worn (thus causing clunking supposedly) and that toyota DOSENT sell just the bushing so i have to get the entire control arm($@$@%!*) then i find out a junkyard (which DIDNT have a celica the day before had the part for 40 bucks!!
and of course toyota wont let me give the part back mad.gif

needless to say, the whole job is gonna be expensive =anklegrabbing rolleyes.gif

ah well. at least i had the money saved up just in case (sorry tweak no extra goodies for me after the dyno tune frown.gif )

it could have been worse though, the mechanic working on my car just found out his girlfriend was sexin his boss laugh.gif

sorry...had to vent

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

you can always order custom busing for the control arm and replace them your self.. i did it last year and just had to shave off the edges to make them fit.

agreed. I did that to my g/f's eclipse, and my dad had a tool to push them out and in. All ya need is extra greese lol. but it was way cheaper then buying a control arm. And better because they are polyeurothane bushings instead of rubber ones.
