I am posting for a friend who is not on this forum. But I figured there would be a lot of interest here so here we go. It is a 94 celica gt that has been converted to have an st205 drivetrain. Its best time at bandimere speedway here in Colorado(well above 5,000 feet in elevation
![]() Eveything is up to stock st205 spec, but above and beyond that... mods: Drivetrain -Mines ECU -Apexi AFC tuned to 11.5 a/f across the board -3in downpipe -JDM sheep dog "Prof" Blow off valve -HKS intake -custom 3in exhaust -Spec stage 2+ clutch( approx 5k miles on it) -Fidanza 9lb flywheel with removable friction surface suspension -Gab sport struts(front has been converted to st205 superstrut with new parts) -TRD coil springs -Gram light wheels Brakes Stock st205, but you would NEVER need better brakes bigger than these on a 3000lb car(w/ driver). And yes we weighed it. It made me and my 3450lb car(also w/ driver) want to cry. Same brakes as a TT Supra The body is all stock st205, but im sure you are all wondering if it has these items(it does) -Gt-four front bumper -Gt-four hood(wrc) -Gt-four spoiler risers Things it is missing: -The rocker panel molding, but the ones off of a 25th ani would be perfect. -Also missing the projector headlights but technically, 94's did not have that ![]() -And last, it needs jdm tail lights The rear gas tank could not be used with the st205 rear subframe so it was eliminated and replaced by a 10gallon fuel cell. Right now, it needs paint. But he will be having it painted before sale to recoop some of the massive amount of money he is losing in this car. It will be repainted by a guy who does work on all kinds of vintage and exotic cars. I have been told that a ferrari was once shipped to him from California for his quality of work I only have one picture of the car at this time, and its not a good one. Once he gets the car up to me I will take more pictures(old friend from high school. He goes to school in Denver, I go to school in Fort Collins) The reason for selling is that the car has put him into very unstable debt and he is having financial trouble trying to balance College and car payments Asking price is $14,000 with new paint. He will accept offers without paint if your speedy about it Thanks guys! ![]() ![]() -------------------- 88 celica all-trac

QUOTE(yarik83 @ Mar 27, 2007 - 6:33 AM) I jus wanted to point out that car modifications do not raise value of car. Meaning that a 1994 celica thats worth 2200 as per kelly blue book is still 2200 even if you put 45000 wheels on it. Car modifications raise emotional value of car and buyer pays for that. Thats called premium. If you were interested in say a barnfind restoration of 1917 Duzenberg you would pay 80,000 for it because its one of a kind, a collectors car, none like it, will resell for higher value and or is a perfect addition to a museum. Think about it this way. ANY old thing does not cost as much as new thing. 2ng gen engine only costs 4500 to swap add 2200 for car add 2000 for other things and you still have vehicle priced under 10 grand. You sir, have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, or what this car is.. It is All wheel drive. And believe me, it costs way more to swap in an st205 driveline than 4500 not even including labor. I know this first hand, and I would like to point out, that my car was already an all wheel drive platform. Its called supply and demand. There is much demand for the car, and the supply is a total of two. I beg of you, please stay out of this thread and clutter it no further. This is not a debate, its a for sale thread Nate, I know your car is in very good condition, but the honest truth is that Kevin needs the money, or else there would be no reason to sell it. He really loves this car. But it has dug him into a hole that he cant climb out of with His GT-FOUR. He needs around 10k to take care of the debt it has caused. Since he has got the car we have had to 1)replace the clutch($432) and flywheel($330) 2)we are currently in the process of relacing the engine. The old one had bad compression on cyl 2(cost of new engine is $2300 shipped, but you can discount about $900 in parts that he will be selling to me and others) I will be around when you are ready to do your swap. Or if you could somehow get Kev's car, I would always be around to help. But he needs the money. Sorry man, He cant trade.. -------------------- 88 celica all-trac
