I would like to dispense with my EGR equipment, and do a vacuum reduction as well. I've studied the vaccum and emissions control diagrams, but I haven't been able to identify which parts are necessary and which aren't.
I saw there were a couple of threads that didn't get very far with this, I hope somebody has some good info. -------------------- ![]() do you know who i am, mr. worley? |

well, that's why i'm asking.
i know none of the stuff has 15 hp hidden in it. i want to clean up the engine bay, and instead of replacing the rotten vac lines i have now, i'd rather just get rid of them. every sensor on the motor has a fake. i'm sure some people know what wiring modifications you need to make to keep from throwing codes. i don't want to get rid of the pcv, vcv, or anything else that is a functional component of another device. the egr doesn't do anything that is useful to me. michigan no longer has emissions testing. perhaps vaccum equipment reduction would better suit your sophisticated grammatical palate. -------------------- ![]() do you know who i am, mr. worley? |
