I love how Americans always laugh at that pronuciation when every one else in the world pronounces it that way. I guess its like when canadians laugh at americans call it a Sell-Ik-Ah.

I love how canadians call people from the United States, American. Yet they fail to realize that living in North AMERICA, they too are American. lol canucks

Its the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...aka you are American..would do you want me to call u? Statesman? United Stateser?? Person who lives in the united states of america??...every one calls people from the US americans. Yes canada is in north america, but it doesnt make us americans. We are Canadians, we are from CANADA. Indeed it is part of north AMERICA, but we arent AMERICANS. Its like telling some one from France, Germany, or Denmark, they are all europeans and it doesnt matter what country they r from because they r all from the same contanent.

any ways, i still think its funny how 1 country out of most of the world pronounces it that way, and wants every one else to pronounce it that way.
