Ok i just went for a ride in my friends nissan 5-speed and the clutch on that thing is really strong...but i get in mine and it likes slips for half a second before it engages. You think it's time for a new one? Actually i'm almost positive it's time for a new one. How hard is it to put one in and what would be some really good clutches to look at?

ACT makes a good clutch - your going to have to take the tranny off, unbolt the pressure plate and take out the disc. Then replace it. The hardest part is getting the tranny off.

When you clutch is close to going, it engages really high up on ur pedal. What i mean is it engages when the clutch is almost all the way up.

Actually... a lot of people (especially people that have done swaps) has had LOTS of issues with ACT. I was about to buy an ACT before I've read other board member's experiences. I'd recommend Clutch Masters over ACT. But it's up to you guys... just try it out...
