I have been overheating ever since i went to that #^#%@& track. here is a couple pics, a friend of mine and another mech said they never seen one do that before. got another one installed in (a 195) and i looked over all the tubing again later and found a pin sized hole in one of my coolant tubes, it was spewing out when we pressurized it.
![]() ![]() the temp went back down to normal, but on my way to see my gf (1 hr away) it seemed to be rising above halfway again when i got around 80 mph didnt want to push it so i slowed down why is it still doing that? is there something i overlooked? The stock temp gauge isn't all that accurate.
It will tell you hot/cold/overheated. But not necessarily too warm. For example, the gauge in my Alltrac there is a roughly 30* range where the temp gauge wont' move at all. But part of your problem might be the FMIC. Do you still have your ST rad in there? Is a GT larger? That might help... -------------------- ![]() |
