QUOTE(Jen @ Apr 3, 2007 - 6:50 PM) Did your car die? no..runs fine...just the engine light went on for no reason. QUOTE(6gcSTVT @ Apr 3, 2007 - 6:55 PM) My car did the same thing last fall, it's just an O2 sensor and when you hook it up you can just clear it my O2 is fine, i replaced it when i put my headers in about 7 or 8 months ago QUOTE(DSToyo @ Apr 3, 2007 - 7:06 PM) it very well might not be anything, ive had mine go on all of a sudden and then after tightening the gas cap the light all of a sudden go out. good luck with whatever it is though. I tightened my gas cap no more than 2 min b4 the light went on. I filled up, put the gas cap back on, tightened it down untill it clicked 4 times, then i drove off...2 min later..light goes on. I also checked to see if it was a dummy code by cycling the key 3 times...still didnt clear. I dunno if that works for OBD1 cars or just OBD2 cars. Oh well..im not driving any where tonight. |
