It was a standard Toyota colour from the factory. That 933 Purple is a weird colour. On a bright cloudy day it looks like a pale lilac (very girly ), on a sunny summers' day it looks very sparkly metallic indigo. At dusk it looks like a deep electric indigo (my fave). And apparently the camera thinks it looks blue in the rain

Toyota call it "Purple Opal Metallic Clearcoat"
