I want to know what LED to use for my climate control and door lights (194, 74)? And which type of LED is the best (superstar)?

I modified mine with led from autozone, they are superbright. Only problem light is emitted into one direction, and causes certain areas not to illuminate well. I used blue. I was able to replace an led into the defroster button, but it looks even brighter than the rest.
I am planning to buy some blue multidirectional LED from Ebay, to see if i can reverse this. For the defroster i will turn the led to face backwards to reduce intensity. As far as indicators go, http://www.lsdiodes.com/shop/ they have flat LED that you can solder/desolder if you have time and experience..... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
