Hey guys,
I bought the summit racing kit to relocate my battery to my trunk (making way for the turbo). Anyway, I got it all finished up yesterday and I can turn the car on but when I try to crank or turn on the headlights the car just dies and power goes off. Then I can wait a few seconds and put the key back in and everything works again.

I've got my battery charging right now to see if thats the problem. Maybe my battery can't handle having to go through the extra length of wiring that I added and can't supply a proper current? Any ideas? I have everything hooked up correctly. I'm grounded to the frame because my friend told me if I don't have a good ground I can run into all sorts of problems.

Any help would be appreciated smile.gif.

The wiring is 2 gauge for both the power and ground. I guess I'll check where I spliced the cables together under the hood. I twisted them around each other then soldered and then I taped it.
