 Gauge Bulbs not working, new red bulbs not burning... :( |

i just changed out the stock green bulbs for some new fancy red ones, and for some reason when i turn my lights on they dont come on, none of them, and i have checked and checked and dont see anything wrong, any one else had this problem?

i used a clear peice of plastic then put a red colored peice of paper behind it.
