I need some forged rods for my 7a-fe, i will be using wiseco forged pistons listed for a 4a-ge (same bore) but i need forged rods with a stroke of 3.36" or 85.5mm
i have searched for rods with that length and the closest i can get is 3.38"/86.0mm listed for a 2JZ-GTE. the length seems good but will the rods fit correctly? any help would be great. thanks, dustin |

well i called race engineering and the guy i spoke with told me that custom forged rods are usually around $700...god damnit! but he also told me to send one of my stock rods in to him and he would see if theres one mass produced that will match up to it. but ill let you know what he tells me.
thanks DB |
