Is SportMax (http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/) wheels any good?
I was looking at the: SportMax 006 Black/Red 5x100 17x7 with 1.75" lip or the SportMax 006 Black/Red 5x100 18x7.5 with 2.5" lip... Link to rim page: http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_006.shtml (They have different colors....) Pic as follow: ![]() So.... I was surfing a Scion bB or xB whatever forum and found out this company called bBlist (http://www.bbist.com/) has the Black/Red 17x7 for $130~ plus shipping. They also sell the 18.7.5 for $150~ plus shipping, though the ETA is 3~4 weeks. Is that price OK, anyone has any experience with bBlist? -------------------- |

i have those very same rims on my 6gc.....installed a couple weeks ago
18x7.5 18x9.5 there are some issues to work out when going for the fitment i wanted...but i was able to get around them first off, the rear rims are 5x114 and 5x120...so i had to buy a 1" adaptor plate to make the 5x100 to 5x114 second the rims are wide and i had to stretch the fenders...was able to do so and rite now i only have the rear rims on while i wait on the speical order pirellis to come in for the fronts i'll get some pix when i can...all can say is on a black 6gc with this setup, i've turner quite a few heads, including those at supra gathering locally (baby supra at its best) |
