 Thinking about a MKIV project, Need Advice |

I would post on a supra forum, but they're douches and I think you guys know more about cars anyway.
 Anyway, it was a NA Auto but now has no engine or trans. It is prepped for a 6 speed install, would a manual conversion cause issues with emmisions? I know some people here have done manual conversions so I'm hoping it doesn't. Also, I will be putting in a NA bottom end engine probably running a small turbo setup, will this cause emmision issues? I appreciate any input!

6spd V160 tranny is >$2000
2jz-ge is your best bet, w/ a W58 tranny. you can turbot he na motor like DG did, and many others and make sik power. to be able to raise boost, changing the headgasket is highsly suggested. W58 isn't really good for high levels of boost. it's an expensive car to build. . . i don't know emissions shhtuufff. --------------------  |
