Okay so here's the deal. Right now I have a '94 Celica GT that I love. There are alot of things I would like to do to it, but there is a problem that I need to solve first. Here is the problem... my celica has about 204,000 miles on it and everything seems to be running great still, but I know it's gonna be time soon to start replacing stuff, like shocks, brakes, blah blah, and I'm not quite sure what all will need to be replaced. So my question to you is, should I keep my celica and just replace the things that will need to be replaced and what would those things be, or get one with less miles on it?

Well, my first 'unwanted' replacement part was done Monday, the 16th.
I was in town, going home on Sunday. I had to stop at the red light at the intersection. The light turned green, so of course I went. I made it half-way thru the intersection, then my car dies. So instantly, I'm thinking, WTH! I've never had a problem like this before. I try to start it, and it won't fire. It turns over though. So I get it pushed to a nearby parking lot, and call my dad because I can't figure it out. He gets down there, and he can't figure it out either, although he has a couple ideas. We just end up taking it to a mechanic, and apparantely my distributor went out. Great, so that was a couple hundred bucks. It works fine now, so I guess I can't complain much. Anyways I just thought I'd share my first step to replacing things with all of you! lol -------------------- - Be careful when playing leapfrog with a Unicorn -
