i searched and read quite a few pages of threads about speakers and seemed to get conflicting answers.. i have a st with just the 4 speakers. will 6 1/2 inch work all the way around (front and back)? im about to take advantage of a web offer cc has right now where u buy a set of 6 1/2 and get the second set half off.. so will they fit? also any recommendations on brands before i buy? im gettin just regular 3 way speakers probaly. thanks

i think the backs are some weird size but 6.5 inch speakers work fine anyway, and the fronts are 6.5 inch speakers in an 8 inch hole...i made some ghetto brackets for mine. for brands, i like alpine.
