I want to improve my throttle response and torque but not sacrifice my current fuel economy and my current reliability... So what can I do that want cost me more than a grand or two, no more than 3 large okay?

Yes, your gas mileage will decrease with a turbo... especially since most people will drive the cars harder with one installed... Yes, a turbo'd car can pass smog... BUT if you get a JDM 3S-GTE, you can count on the car failing the visual... due to the lack of an EGR... |
