EGT Probe Elimination, 2nd gen 3sgte

Not unscrewing it , eliminating it completely. Or could I just zip tie it somewhere in the engine bay ? New down pipe I'm getting doesnt have a bung for this JDM probe. The JDM EGT sensor is not so much a sensor as a switch. At a certain temp, it closes the circuit. Unplugging it completely causes no problems. The sensor is for the cat, not the motor - and when the cat is gone, there is no need for the sensor.
