ne1 know where i can get a short throw shifter for my gt?

Shorter is not always the best ....shorter shift means its harder to shift in between gears...Need to find a medium

I fully agree - after seeing my friend miss-shift his 1ZZ-FE into oblivion I fully agree. But the TRD is not rediculously short - if anything it is a very medium throw between the retarded ricer short throws and the stock tree trunk shifter.

The TRD quickshifter is really nice, except for the fact that its really close to the parking brake handle in 1st and 2nd gear.

Again - I fully agree. I think you could cut and weld in a rightward jog to the lever like the stock and older TRD shifters had or maybe change the spacers to be smaller on the pass. side slightly which would change the angle abit. The upside to that tho is no more rubbing on the guy in your pass seats leg LOL. Seriously I hate it when guys sit in the pass seat and don't seem to notice that you have to rub their leg with your hand to shift into 5th or reverse. Makes me wonder about the guy. I always ask them to move their leg.
