 Fading mirrors and door handles |

I've seen this especially on red celis. The door handles and mirrors fade to a very attractive pink... although it matches the center of my rims,
 I absolutely can't stand it. Is there a option other than getting them sprayed? Has anybody ever tried just clearing over them? How about black spray paint?

does that happen because they're plastic, i think you aare going to have to repaint them....
