yeah. I had those on my car. while trying to remove a couple of them, I stripped a couple. what a pain to get off! if you just need them off, go out and buy 4 19mm 12-point deep sockets. not your nice sockets you already have, go out and buy cheap ones! what you'll need to do is, using a dremel or a hammer and chisel (a combination of the two works well) cut/chip a corner of the wheel lock off, now take one of the sockets and take a hammer and wack it onto the wheel lock until it's on there pretty far, it doesn't really want to go on unless you have a piece chipped off.. now you can take a ratchet, stick it in the socket, and it should be able to turn the lock off.
dremel blades - $5 cheap sockets - $28 ($7ish each) 4 new lug nuts from toyota - $25 (universal ones didn't fit for me) probably cheaper to just get a new key. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
