Im looking for a home defense shotgun and i've narrowed my choices down to a mossberg 590 and the remington 870...which one is the better gun???

someone's craaaanky. I know my dad has a remington shotgun for hunting and he always says he loves it, just my imput on a good brand i guess. I'm sorry you need a gun where you live.
