Im looking for a home defense shotgun and i've narrowed my choices down to a mossberg 590 and the remington 870...which one is the better gun???

I personally am happy in the knowledge that almost all of the people i come into contact with do not have access to guns. Part of the reason you feel the need to protect your home with guns is because it's so easy for every joker to get hold of one to rob you with. Most of the people in the UK will never see a gun.
