Im looking for a home defense shotgun and i've narrowed my choices down to a mossberg 590 and the remington 870...which one is the better gun???

I skipped most of the pointless bickering and would like to
add I have put many rounds through an 870 mostly for trap with very few problems. The Mossbergs I have used seem to be prone to ejector problems. Guns are a very delicate subject, lots of mixed opinions. Such topics usually end up locked because of this. Good luck with this one. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
