decided to paint my valve cover again, since i had it off and it was pretty dirty. i really wanted to paint it a metalic gold, but it seems like no one sell that color in a high temp paint. anyway, here is how it turned out.

for a 3SGE, would i just remove the plug cables, plugs, unscrew the valve and paint? Or do i have to prep the engine first (drain oil?)?

Or do i have to prep the engine first (drain oil?)? you don't need to drain the oil. just need a new valve cover gasket. and yeah, I think it's by dupli-color. my friend did his car with a metallic blue. and I think they had metallic gold there too. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
