Im looking for a home defense shotgun and i've narrowed my choices down to a mossberg 590 and the remington 870...which one is the better gun???

I'm pretty sure that this .22 pistol would intimidate an intruder just as much as a shotgun would. Plus, the chances of killing them with this would be lower...of course that depends on where you shoot.

22 pistils is great for beind gangster and talking about dues dues in your rap songs... But other than that theres no way im gonna point a 22 at someone especially if they are armed as well i dont want to take the risk of them shooting back at me i mean who want to shoot some one 15 times before he goes down..I say go big or go home..A shotgun is great for home defnce aslong as its not a hostage situation. 12gauge plus birdshot equals point and shoot satisfaction...
Also my grandfather tought me a very valuble rule............ Never point a gun at someone unless you intend to shoot them. sounds harsh but its the best thing ive ever heard to relating guns.
