Im looking for a home defense shotgun and i've narrowed my choices down to a mossberg 590 and the remington 870...which one is the better gun???

WOW some people are a little too opinionated. i say for the bad ass factor just get a desert eagle lol. it might not have as nice of a spread but it will go through a wall, person and another wall.........ahh never mind just stick with a
all black home defense style shotgun, with extended magazine.
