i know people talk about this all the time but i was just wondering if anybody changed the color of their clock from stock bright green to red. i kinda dont think its possible but if anybody has done it can you fill me in. (i read that some ppls stock color are white. lucky bums!)
o yea lost one of those rubber pieces that touch the circuit board so if anybody wants to give me one or send me a white clock (i'll pay 4 it) i would appreciate it! ![]() This post has been edited by juBz86: Jan 28, 2005 - 12:08 AM |

Hey guys,
Yeh use a good spray paint, preferably one for plastics. Was just wondering, i used a red filter gel to make mine red (clock lights up green originally), works good at night, not visible in daylight as i have still to remove the tinted plastic facia. the reason is i wanna replace it with clear plastic so that it still has a factory feel to the clock/console (unless u take it apart and find the filter). does anyone know what i could do/use to get effectively as close to the plastic face i have but clear and not tinted? the problem with making my own piece of plastic is the face curves, if i use a flexible plastic type thing the problem is getting it to stay in place, curved... any ideas? thanks |
