ok so check this out
iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs* would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent? and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

you need a lot more info than that... specs on the amp, brand, rated at 1 ohm? 2 ohms? subs... 600 watts rms? peak? , how do you have them wired--->>> very very very very very very important... it can be done easily but a lot more is needed to be known before i can sign off on it
16 gauge MUST BE CHANGED.... NEVER EVER run anything with a higher number than 10 for any amplifier... 3000 watt amp could use as large as 0/1 to be running efficiently This post has been edited by pittfirefighter: Apr 30, 2007 - 11:28 PM -------------------- Breaking Axles...
