some cars have the shock things that we have on our hatches on the hood so that you dont need a hood prop up thing, has anyone here ever thought about doing this?

did it, tried it. doesnt work. the hatch props are way to strong, if want to do this you need to find some from another car that has them on the hood or has a lighter hatch. you will tweak the hood if you use the rear hatch props.
![]() these are mine from a 97 buick park avenue. they work really well cause the buick has an aluminum hood. just go to a junk yard and look around most GM sedans have hood dampers -------------------- |
