ok so check this out

iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs*

would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent?

and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast?

the subs say 4 ohms on them? how many prongs on the subs are there? and hows are the wires run for the subs... do you know the difference between parallel and series?

those subs will be more than fine at 4 ohms or 8 ohms, nothin less than that, and you need at least 8 gauge wire for battery and ground... its about the thickness of your smallest finger, you can crank it all the way up as long as its at 4 or 8 ohms, if you're not sure, check with me about EVERYTHING, just the wiring has everything to do with it
