ok so check this out
iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs* would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent? and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

ill tell you guys when i get the amp.
LoLz btw its always better to be overpowered than to be under powered. i have a 250 watt amp right now running the subs and i thought about buying a kicker l7 10 solobaric woofer. but then i thought wtf when i hooked it up, it sounded the same as the two dual's i had in my car, just half the space in my car. what i want is more power. what i plan to do is hook up the 250 watt max amp to the rear speakers "its a 2 channel" and have the 3000 watt amp running the gain at 25 % of the power it really has. by doing that, would that improve the amp's life or am i mistaken? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D
