yesterday i was showing my buddy my engine bay and he commented that my intake looks pretty dirty and that i should clean it. he said he had a cleaner called Injen Pro Tech Charger Kit and he was going to give it to me. so first question does my intake need a cleaning? and second how do you use this cleaner stuff?

I use the K&N filter recharge kit. It is a detergent spray and an oil. What you do is spray on the detergent and leave it sit for 10 minutes. After it sits, reverse flush the filter with water (spray from the inside out). Shake excess water out and let it sit and dry. After it dries spray it with the oil all over. Let it sit for ~20 minutes to dry. Reinstall.
