yesterday i was showing my buddy my engine bay and he commented that my intake looks pretty dirty and that i should clean it. he said he had a cleaner called Injen Pro Tech Charger Kit and he was going to give it to me. so first question does my intake need a cleaning? and second how do you use this cleaner stuff?

If your filter was not originally designed to be oiled like K&N, don't use oil on it.
If your filter is washable, you can wash it.
Otherwise, you will need to replace it.
You can clean "dry type" filter once a while using compressed air.
