ok so check this out
iif i were to hook up a 3000 watt mono amp max to a 600 watt sub *its 2 subs* would it damage the subs if i had the gain set at like 25 percent? and would i have to change the wire running from the battery to the amp cause right now i think im using 16 gague wire? is it a must if im not going to have the amp at full blast? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

just to smooth things over... all the companies you mentioned are on the same level as the three i said... i wasn't trying to just name only three but rather trying to prove a point like the amp mentioned above (legacy) and such amps as pioneer and kenwood and even some alpine and such are never what they are said to be....
![]() i was not trying to dump on any of your fav's as we all have our own... just warning a fellow enthusiast... the amp is rated at around 800W at 4 ohms and around 400W at 8ohms... just to let ya guys know ![]() -------------------- Breaking Axles...
