i joined 2 BMW forums when i bought the 540i. i though it would be like here-- tips, tricks, photos and respectful exchanges. no such luck. one forum treated me like some poor cousin and the other was all " hey-look-what-i-did-to-my-car-to-make-it-look-like-a-ricer". no exchanges, no replies to calls for help, NO SENSE OF COMMUNITY. 6gc is a web-based community. there is a large dose of humour and intelligence in everything debated. replies are honest and prompt. would it be otherwise i would not cudos aussi to COOMER who managed the site and to all the moderators who keep us in line. one great regret is that my favorite thread has dissapeared again, because of the few (or the one) screwing it up for the many. longue vie to 6gc -------------------- ![]() |
