i dont see how a b16 turbo will help.

nothing would really transfer over, except the intercooler and piping. You can not simply cut the b16 turbo manifold and reweld a 7afe flang on it, it actual requires some reworking of the pipes.

Why not buy the burien turbo kit. Or go custom?

burien kit is for 5sfe?? he's a 7a? for 7a you can use the B16 manifold. would fit with minimal work.

So far, the b16 manifold flange can be cut off and the 4age flange can be welded on relativily easily. But for the 7afe engine, the 7afe flange does not directly line up with all the b16 exhaust runners. If you want to use a b16 manifold for the 7afte set up, you will need to cut off the b16 flange and then custom trim/adjust/rework at least two exhaust runners to line up with the 7afe flange. Therefore it will not fit with minimal work.

Untill I see a detailed how-to on how people manage to get the b16 manifold to work on the 7afe. I would not spread the rumor of it easily working.

i have done it on my 7a i also have made one for a buddy it is very easy to do and takes a couple of hours wink.gif look in my profile to see pics , as far as a b16 kit i would go with a d16 setup and the manifold would work , along with the turbo as long as it is not a 70trim , the down pipe will work with a little modifacation and if you get a good kit it should have a wastegate that will work intercooler and bov. so all he would need is a fuel management unit like safcII , or a greddy emanage , some good injectors like rc 370cc injectors with there pigtails. a good fuel pump 255 walbros, add some good gauges and he would have a very good performance and show kit biggrin.gif i know as most of this i have in mine . wink.gif just my 2 cents
