HI!
My 94 celica won't pass the test only. I have a short arm intake with a k&N filter and I was told by the technician to replace it with the stock one. Is that going to help a lot? Problem is that I don't have my stock system anymore. What options do I really have? I really don't have much money to spend on my car since I just use it to commute to school and work. It is mechanically is perfect condition but apparently the emission are a little high. I will be doing a full tune up to the car this weekend but I really don't know what to do about the stock air filter box. Any help will be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

That's not gonna fail you on smog. Do the tuneup [especially ignition ie plugs, wires, cap and rotor - you wanna burn as much fuel as possible] and if you can afford it replace the o2 sensors and cats. You probably just have really old smog components.
