i want to change to color of the climate control light, and i read the sticky on it, but i dont know how to remove it? do i have to disconnect the blue and black control wires? i am having a hell of a time!

Yes you have to remove the wires and yes you have to solder new LED's. Pretty much the reason why I'm not gonna do it. I'm not confortable soldering on such an expensive component.
I think someone here could make a bunch of money if they had a spare climate control from a junkyard they could sell them with the color of that person's choice with a core to return their original one. I'm down for it but I think I would just rather drive around with a hole in my dash for a week than get someone elses CC unit back. Anybody wanna start a business for that mod?
