HI!
My 94 celica won't pass the test only. I have a short arm intake with a k&N filter and I was told by the technician to replace it with the stock one. Is that going to help a lot? Problem is that I don't have my stock system anymore. What options do I really have? I really don't have much money to spend on my car since I just use it to commute to school and work. It is mechanically is perfect condition but apparently the emission are a little high. I will be doing a full tune up to the car this weekend but I really don't know what to do about the stock air filter box. Any help will be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

Thanks for the help guys, I am pretty sure it failed the visual inspection they had "tamper" on it. The emissions were high as well. I will do my tune up and see if I can find a stock box. I had mine in the garage and my dad threw it away thinking I didn't needed anymore. If anyone has one I can borrow or buy for the test I would be interested. If it's borrowed I can paypal the shipping costs. Thanks!

Check the junkyards down by the border. I know that 6g celicas are hard to find in salvage lots but I think a stock Camry 5sfe intake box should be the same.
