I just hooked up a 1400w amp to 2 subs. At my schools car show i was watching my rpms as i cranked the volume for my chem teacher lol, but anyway the rpm needle bounces at the idle from around 300 to 500 rpms, not a huge jump but enough for me to notice...

Bad or not bad?

should i change something?

thanks

hmmm, i was thinking that maybe your "sapping" so much power from your battery that it puts an extra load on your altenator, ya know, cause the car is working harder to produce, or keep its spark..maybe re-gapping the spark plugs might help in getting a more constant spark...
